“New Old Signs” are unique signs, hand-painted to look vintage by sign-artist John A. Cox. A native of Lexington, KY Cox began painting signs at a local sign company in college at the University of Kentucky. A short time after graduating, Cox started Thorough-Graphics in 1982.

With the passing of time came the evolution of the sign. The majority of signage produced by Thorough-Graphics today is done on computers, yet Cox has been able to rediscover his passion for painting by creating “New Old Signs.”
